Payments

Payment is due at the time of service unless another payment arramgement has already been discussed and approved by Corinne. We accept Cash, Checks, Cards, Zelle, Venmo, and Cashapp. Please put the pets name in the memo line for all online payments!! Payments made after 8pm on the day of service will incur a $20 late fee, and will continue to build at a rate of $20 a day for each 24 hour period that payment is not recieved.

Cancellation policy

We ask for a 48 hour notice to cancel appointments, exceptions can be made for certain situations. Any appointments canceled less then 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a $25 late fee due before any new appointments can be made. If we arrive to your home and are unable to do the service due to no one being home, owner changed their mind, etc a fee of the full price of the groom will be due before any additional appointments can be scheduled. After the second last minute cancellation or no show, The Grooming Bandit reserves the right to require pre-payment of grooming fees prior to booking.

Matting

The Grooming Bandit will make every effort to safely remove any matting in a pain free way. Some matting may be so severe that nicks and scratches can occur. If this is the case first aid will be performed and the owner notified. Ear hematomas can occur due to removing matting from ears, especially in light colored dogs. The Grooming Bandit does not take responsibility for any ear hematomas or  injuries that occur due to mat removal. Skin conditions and injuries can be present under the mats and become revealed after removing the matting. The Grooming Bandit does not take responsibility for any prior or underlying health or skin conditions.

Arrival times

Every effort is made to stay on schedule and arrive at your appointment times. We do occasionally run early or late, we will reach out to you if we will be more then 15 minutes early or late. Traffic and the unexpected needs of the pets before your appointment can cause us to run behind. We do offer latch key services if desired.

Difficult pets

Every effort will be made to complete the requested service but occasionally pets may be to scared, aggressive, or anxious to safely complete the service. The Grooming Bandit reserves the right to stop the service and return the pet to the care of its owner if the pet or groomers safety is in question. 

Pets Health

For the safety of all pets in our care. We do not accept pets who are sick or ill. If your pet has an upset stomach or is coughing or sneezing, please reschedule. If pets show signs of illness during the groom,   the service will be stopped and rescheduled.  If your pet has recently had surgery for the safety of your pet please ensure pets have been cleared for grooming(typically 10-14 days following surgery).
